WHERE IS CENTRAL AMERICACentral America borders Mexico to the North, Columbia to the South, the Pacific Ocean to the West, and the Caribbean Sea to the East. Central America is considered part of both North America and Latin America and is often referred to as an isthmus.
Central America is made up (from North to South) of Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. Of these, I will be spending time in Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. |
